Dhule / Jalgoan Institute of Technology (College of Fire and Safety Engineering) Dhule / Jalgoan is an organisation that focus on the Innovative approach to Fire Engineering. This is the top most Fire Engineering college in North Maharashtra, DIT/JIT is situated in very calm and quite atmosphere at the Dhule/Jalgoan city. The environment is fresh and beautiful enabling student to concentrate on their studies. The college schedule is design with proper practical and regular technical visits. To fulfill the needs of migrated students there are hostels and mess available close to college at very reasonable rates. We allow students to do various drills with all types fire fighting appliances and equipments.
DIT/JIT maintain it's quality teaching for bright future of students. It has noble and loyal cause of full- filling the need of our society and country by providing quality education and maintaining training of highest standards to student in the field of fire and safety. Which results the reduction of the invaluable human life and precious property loss due to fires. The courses of fire and safety engineering provides job to the student in India as well as in foreign countries. As this course belongs to disaster management so the course has been designed on Military base course follows the training schedule of Army, Navy and Air force. As this forces protect us from external threats in same way fire force, police force and some other Central Govt. forces. Secures us from the external threats such as natural calamities like Earthquake, Flood, Accident etc.
Fire engineering can be define as that application of scientific and engineering principle, rules and expert Judgments based on understanding of the phenomenon and effects of fire its reaction and behavior of people. By the virtue of it's growing role in saving life and property on large scale. Fire engineering is fast becoming one of the worlds noblest profession, Moreover unlimited opportunities comes from abroad is especially from the Gulf countries. In DIT/JIT more attention is given on discipline of the student. In our college under discipline we daily take ground of the students in morning from 9.30 am to 12.00pm. We take warm up like PT. Parade and drill (How to use fire Extinguisher to extinguish fire. How to do rescue work and how to do fire fighting at afternoon we take daily lecture. Our college also has our own water base and non water base fix fire fighting installation.
We also have fire tender which content Foam and Water. (In North Maharashtra only our college has all types of facilities) Our college also send students for attachment at the places approved by Central Government.
